Canoe999
Does anyone know how Dalhousie calculates your GPA after you've done your masters? It says that they take your last 3 years if your finished your undergrad but doesn't explain the trend from this point forward? Thanks
funkmunk
I'm not entirely clear on this myself, but I can try to help since I approached them with this question. They look at your last two full time years for the cut off. If your masters was course based, then they'll look at this. From what I understand, they consider your undergrad grades more for reflection purposes, looking at trends over time. In other words, they don't penalize you as heavily as other schools if you had a few bad years earlier on in your academic career; you have a chance to redeem yourself. I don't think they have an exact formula for what the masters gpa counts for vs the undergrad gpa, but I do think the masters weighs more heavily since they give that chance of redemption. I hope this helps.
