Reputation of UBC and UofT in the US?

Hi guys,

 

I'm trying to make a decision about which medical school to attend between UBC and UofT. I am based out of Vancouver and would looove to stay here for the med program. Any ideas on how UBC and UToronto are perceived by residency programs in the US? Thanks in advance.
