CdnatWayne
I think its an even split between Windsor and Detroit, there are few maybe 1 or 2 students that live in the suburbs. I think the folks that live in Windsor only come in during required days (tests, labs, clin med, etc).

keith_015
Congrats GITANJALI. IMO, think about the reasons you applied there in the first place. Would you be interested in living in N. Chicago? Does the school fit you ideas?
JC5
congrats GITANJALI (I'm actually just about ready to hop on the plane and head to RFU and pretty excited =D) $300 is the plane ticket? It's $50 each way for the cab from O'Hare and that's with a discount incase that factors into your decision (in case I'm wrong about this please tell me within the next several hours lol) One thing to do is go to SDN Interview Feedback and click on RFU. Specifically, click on the "Pros", "Cons" and anything else that gives information on the school. There is a LOT of information there re: what people thought and what RFU has to offer. If you like what you see, go. If you don't (and you have acceptances already -- couldn't be bothered to check the other thread) then don't
Gitanjali
Thanks for the support guys. $300 was just my rough guestimate of the ticket from Buffalo to Chicago, lol:p . It was more like a figure of speech I guess. Gluck to you JC5! I am sure you can provide valuable feedback when you are back. EL_med2009
Hi guys! I'm from Toronto and I just received an interview invite from Wayne State for march 25th this is my first invite from an american school. I have been prepping for canadian interviews but have no idea where to start for US schools. Any advice on prepping for Wayne State's interview? For those of you who have interviewed there, what was the format of the interview and what was it like in general? Any info or advice would be much appreciated! Thanks

For those of you who have interviewed there, what was the format of the interview and what was it like in general? Any info or advice would be much appreciated! Thanks Its a relaxed interview, no ethics questions, only questions about your application and maybe why medicine, why wayne questions. Make sure you arrive in detroit during the daytime and quickly get to wherever your planning on staying. I recommend their student hosting program because its very close to the place where u will interview and the students can help you get there. good luck
bannie22
that's cuz it hates you. p.s. good job defending Canadians on SDN I'm glad you feel that way, as long as you arent being sarcastic I dont know, sometimes I defend Canadians, sometimes I dont. Just depends on the topic. But what I think is most important is that I wouldnt have achieved what I have achieved so far if I had never come to Canada. So I do feel that sometimes people should give credit to Canada and Canadians for kinda like 'nurturing' and 'grooming' me... there ARE some aspects of Canada I'm not a big fan off tho. *honesty* *admitted at dream interview I prefer social aspect of medicine to research* *scared to bits* and also, I really cannot imagine any school better than UofT in Ontario. the only two schools comparable to UofT is Mcgill and UBC.... Are you from like UWO with a deluded sense of superiority? =p I know that Yorklings and UW know they do not come close to us:p
