medguy5367
The U of A has an MMI interview procedure now. Does this mean that the "personal" interview where they ask you questions about YOURSELF (eg. why do you want to be a doctor?) is completely gone? Jochi1543
Well, what does the website say? Last year, we had 2 "personal" stations, one before and one after the MMI where they just discussed general questions with you (and yeah, one of the questions they could potentially ask you was why medicine, etc). However, it was only used as a flag - if you said something atrocious, it'd count against you, but if you blew your interviewer away with your eloquency, it didn't matter. traumahawk
Ya, I liked that station too. I remember going back to see the lady who gave me the first personal interview, and she totally kept things casual and led the conversation almost. Pretty sure she was crushing on this guy!
