veracruise Posted October 23, 2009 Report Share Posted October 23, 2009 Can anyone tell me what the process is for a Canadian with an Ontario undergraduate degree, to get their MD in the U.S. and then return to Canada to practise (after residency, I assume)? VTeight7 Posted October 23, 2009 Report Share Posted October 23, 2009 Read this - http://www.cpso.on.ca/policies/policies/default.aspx?id=2352 and scroll halfway down, to "pathway 3" essentially if you complete residency in USA and write the licensing exams, the only thing you really need to practice on your own in ontario is 1 year of supervised practice here followed by an "assessment" Awesome policy, eh?
