boobiman
For american schools, would it be a bad idea to take orgo in summer between third and fourth year (application time im guessing). Ive already done first year bio's and chem's and the first physics. Im in second year right now and will be writing the MCAT this summer. Does it look very bad that i still wouldnt have done both english courses, the second physics and orgo (should be in the middle of orgo at that time), or is it fine? Thanks ps. any canadian schools that require the first orgo? i know most dont. thanks1
keith_015
It may raise some issues if you have a lot of prerequisites missing from your transcript when you apply. Some schools are hell bent on prereqs. For your sake it is also better to get them done earlier in case the schools don't find them sufficient, leaving you with a little time to figure out how to get by the situation. I would suggest doing orgo before the MCAT, maybe limit it to three missing prereqs (ie. do one english).
