ChurchillxThatcher
Hey everyone, I just noticed that they posted a new site at http://www.mcgill.ca/medadmissions/ and it has a whole bunch of new changes. For one, its now a "personal narrative with abstract", and we don't submit a C.V. anymore, it's a form where we put our data in one by one. Check it out. future_doc
Like with UBC and McMaster applications, life does not stand still and there will always be changes.
samy
The new website is definately clearer and easier of use. I found the old one hard to navigate and uninstinctive...
r201
Thanks for sharing this link, it's really easier and clearer than the previous one, it contains all the necessary information that a student needs in order to apply.
Capucine
I think it's on march 1, as you can see on the front page of the website. Otherwise, I think that we still have to submit a CV, but it won't be a conventional one. Link : http://www.mcgill.ca/medadmissions/applying/submitting-your-applciation/supporting-documents/curriculum-vitæ They are telling us what we have to say for each entry. Yes indeedy! The admissions office worked very hard on this new website and hopefully you guys find this application process much simpler and more convenient than previous ones. samy
By the way guys, do you know what the application deadline for CEGEP applicants is? Someone told me that it's in January, but I thought that it was on March 1. Can someone confirm either one of the two dates? Applications open September 1st and close on March 1st. So, you have 6 months to prepare your documents and to really think about YOURSELF and what you've done and what you've learn. Do not wait till February to start your reflection please !! Patho_Medicus
How are you guys applying online? Minerva or the other direct online application system? It's all messed up I logged off in the middle and can't restart the process ... aggravating!
kenjuro
Hey, You have to apply using both Minerva and MedOAS systems. When you're using Minerva, you can fill up all the info that is required (i.e. which program are you applying to and personal info) and you can save it at the end. For MedOAS, you simply can add all the information that they are asking for (C.V, letter, etc.). It's as simple as that !
