Same with mine, when I was using Firefox.. I'm using a mac so when I opened Safari it worked perfectly! So if you're using windows, Internet Explorer might fix it!

That's weird.. I'd just type it in a word document and use the document properties or whatever to give you word count and character count, that's what I did for some of my app.

It should say at the end up the question... So, Why do you want to be a physician (750 character maximum).. etc.. Those numbers should be showing up fine as they are part of the actual questions I think

I actually found a work-around to the characters count problem for any last minute people out there:

use an older version of internet explorer (like version 7)
