ma_ta
Hey, I was wondering if It is better from a CARMs point of view to do an elective in a subspeciality in Toronto or CTU. I would prefer to do a 2 week elective but unfortunately, CTU requires a minimum of 3 weeks. If I do a subspeciality elective now but after CARMs and before the interview do a 3 week CTU would that be enough to show interest in Toronto? Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Atomic_Kitten85
Hi, most people I know, but not all, who got interviews for UofT IM did CTU, so I would suggest it, not only does it show your interest, you will also be able to meet key people if lucky or if ask in advance about the preceptors, and learn about the program much more.
