hey guys, just wondering how is ortho interview invitation going...

 

So far i only heard from ua and ubc...any news from ontario schools yet?

So far I have heard from:

 

U of A

Calgary

UBC

Queens

and although I haven't received anything, McGill apparently sent out invitations.

 

I will update if I hear anything else. Judging by the number of views of this thread, there is some interest here. It would be awesome if other people could add to the list as well. It only takes 2 min to register as I just found out.

I have not heard from UWO, UofT, Ottawa, or Mannitoba, but I am an IMG so I have no idea how this works.

 

Would I at least get a refusal letter? I surely hope so. Definitely better than complete silence!

I have gotten a refusal letter from U of A and UBC. As for the other schools that I haven't heard from that others have, I assume that I have not received an interview.

 

That group meaning - Manitoba, UWO, Toronto, Ottawa, McGill, Memorial.

From the CaRMS site, it seems like these programs notify all applicants, so I wouldn't give up hope on them just yet.

 

At least I haven't.

So today I got a rejection from UofT.

 

Really disappointing !

 

Still waiting for UWO and Manitoba.

i heard from Memorial and Dalhousie today.

 

It looks like notification dates are variable even within each school; not a single date to notify everyone, refusal or invite.

The only school I applied to that I have yet to hear from is Manitoba. Those guys need to get their butts in gear; their interviews are in the first week.

Hey guys,

 

I got all of my interview offers and rejections today.

 

The only schools I didn't apply to were NOSM and Quebec (McGill isn't part of Quebec is it?).
