deferring

i just got accepted to ottawa, but i really want to take the next year off. i think that i want to finish my undergrad first semester (at Mac), and then travel for the next eight months. does anyone know how good ottawa is about allowing students to defer? does anyone have any opinions about deferring in general? oh boy...big decisions...

Okay,

I don`t know if you`re the same person, BUT my friend is planning on doing the same thing. She was admitted to Ottawa this year and she will defer to finish her undergrad (at MAC) and will travel the rest of the year....SHE has already filled out the form appropriately and as far as I know, she didn`t have any problems deferring...just claim that it is because you want to finish your degree....that`s a great reason to defer....and don`t worry, it seems like plenty of people do it (when I say plenty I really mean a few from each class).
