Der Kaiser
As long as Australearn isn't spamming the forum I do not feel it is that big a deal. The International forums see almost no action anyway. That said the manner in which they are posted is very "commercial" and sort of leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Edit: I think it's totally cool that you are here to answer questions about the schools you represent, but I think the board has a policy of not directly advertising products or schools for that matter. Lyndal
I guess I'm a little confused too. I have been on the forum for the last few years and often announce here to let people know when our applications are open, when I am holding interviews and information sessions in Canada etc and, of course, answering questions about the Wollongong program. Chad and the Australearn team also post information here on our behalf. I am a frequent member of the Australian med student chat sites and have never had such a difficulty. Apologies if my presence is not appropriate, and has offended any members, but by all reports over the years it has been a valuable source of information for many of your members who use our posts as a springboard to ask questions or further inquiries. I am suprised by the reaction as this is the first time concern has been raised to me about institutions like us posting here. In the past it has been positive and welcoming. Needless to say, if anyone would like more information on the University of Wollongong MBBS programme, feel free to contact me or Chad duMond at Australearn. Kind regards Lyndal
