hey guys, i'd like to get people's thoughts on the peds icu...

 

in terms of job wise across canada, are most of the intensivists dual practitioners ie. peds resp/picu, peds cardio/icu, or do they solely practise in the picu?

 

what sort of variety of work arrangements do they have? ie. work 1 in 4 weeks, etc?

 

here in edmonton it seems like a lot of picu is cardiac...what kind of variety do others see? ie. tbi, burns, seizures, dka, etc?

hey guys, i wanted to bump this to the top and give one more try at finding out what PICU was like around the country in terms of jobs, variety of practise,etc. Any insite?
