thehumanmacbook
Hey guys, so after a bit of early practice I've been noticing something from my early math/CS courses in the passages - and that is using logic. For example, some passages can be broken down into reasoning strengths...such as detecting false assumptions (not too common though) or the if/then/because or if A then B clauses. I've forgotten a lot of logic though, since high school and I was wondering if people would actually recommend borrowing a book on propositional logic or basic logical arguments? Would that help dramatically for the MCAT...or do the prep books usually train you well enough for it? Thanks everyone! Sorry for the semi-stupid question. Erk
What you have just described is essentially what I used to do well, more than memorisation or anything else. So yeah, I think it's pretty dramatically helpful.
thehumanmacbook
Erk - thanks so much again for all your help. Do you think you have any good sites/books to recommend to brush up on logic?
