eugene447
Hi guys! So I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of us who were refused into medicine, and will be doing an undergrad before applying once again. So for people who are currently in their 1st, 2nd or 3rd year undergrad, could you share some of your advices to get good grades? Thank you, and have a nice summer. sirop
Don't fall behind in your coursework. You'll kick yourself in the arse if you do.
psychoswim
Agreed! Stay on top of things, it's much easier that having to play catch up on 4-5 classes in the span of 2 days before exams! Doesn't mean you have to study from day 1, but at least have a plan of how you want to make it work. I like school.. I'm a professional student by now lol. It's all in how you make it work, and what take with you when it's over besides grades.
MD2015
Good time management skills, prioritization and knowing how best to study for you are essential. The transition to undergrad can be brutal and for at least the first semester -until you have a good academic experience behind you - you cannot afford any distractions. GPA is king. Only involve yourself in ECs once you have your studies and grades under control!
samy
Do not rely on NTC to study !!!! Get your own notes done !
Corie
I only relied on NTCs! They were amazing . We all have our own ways to study I guess.
