Increased debt ceiling looks like bad news for US doctors

Not to mention the fact that subsidized Stafford loans for professional and graduate students are being cut in 2012 to help pay the debt. Doesn't sound like a good time to be a US doctor or medical student to me.

I always used to think i'd one day end up practising in the States... This debt ceiling problem, however, really opened my eyes as to how eff'd their whole system is.
