Applying for Ireland schools

I have a few questions about international medical schools, particularly Ireland. If you complete your medical school studies in Ireland or elsewhere in Europe, where do you do your rotations? Do they find you a match?

 

Also, can you apply for immigration status for that country and practice there instead of coming back to Canada? It's probably not as simple as that, but what would be the process like. I mean, the degree should be worth something at the end right?
