sparkles3288 Posted August 14, 2011 Report Share Posted August 14, 2011 Definitely interesting and promising research, but I think the thread title illustrates the problem with science literacy in the media. The experiments and study discussed present a potential method of targeting HIV cells, but so far this has only been done in cell cultures in vitro. Many laboratory results can occur under strict and regimented conditions, but it is an entirely different matter to mimic these results in vivo.
