Penalty on having a non full year for Dentistry?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I was looking to apply to UWO dentistry and they take your best two years. They require you have a full course load (5 classes a semester) for the years in consideration. If you dont, they assess a slight penalty on that year depending on the number of classes you are below the full course load. I took 9 classes out of 10 last year and was wondering if anyone knew how much the penalty would be?

Is that for both Dents and medicine? I am still learning about dentistry at Schulich :)

They say a penalty will be applied. I think they give you a 0 for the missing course OR they will not look at the year entirely if it falls below a certain percentage.

OP your best bet is to call them up and ask.

Yeah a "penalty" is pretty vague - I have no idea what exact that could mean. Definitely contact them to find out!
