gurbir23
Hi, I was looking to apply to UWO dentistry and they take your best two years. They require you have a full course load (5 classes a semester) for the years in consideration. If you dont, they assess a slight penalty on that year depending on the number of classes you are below the full course load. I took 9 classes out of 10 last year and was wondering if anyone knew how much the penalty would be?
DeeDoc
They would not count that year.
rmorelan
They would not count that year. Is that for both Dents and medicine? I am still learning about dentistry at Schulich
DeeDoc
Is that for both Dents and medicine? I am still learning about dentistry at Schulich http://www.schulich.uwo.ca/dentistry/faq#full_course_load They say a penalty will be applied. I think they give you a 0 for the missing course OR they will not look at the year entirely if it falls below a certain percentage. OP your best bet is to call them up and ask. Yeah a "penalty" is pretty vague - I have no idea what exact that could mean. Definitely contact them to find out!
gurbir23
Yeah, I did email them but they say the penalty is confidential so no luck there.
