anon1234
hi everyone so i was wondering when the wGPA pre-screening begins; basically i'm wondering when they would start weeding out clearly non-competitive applicants and informing them of their rejection? is it only after they get all your ref. letters etc, or they will start pre-screening soon/it's already underway? thank you! rmorelan
My understanding is that all rejections and invites go out in Jan/Feb. If you are rejected on the basis of GPA, it says that in the rejection letter. You won't get a letter in November saying that you have a low GPA and have been pre-screened. I think you are confusing Ottawa with the OOP processes at some other schools. Yeah it will be months before you here anything and then everyone gets told all at once. At the point I don't even think the schools have all the OMSAS data yet (unless something has changed this year). There is still a bunch of stuff they have to their end before it gets completely released.
