Does your undergrad university reflect on your med school?

Does it really matter what school you go to for undergrad? I am just wondering what you guys think

We had a thread on that last month, and there's several more floating around in the archives. The short answer is: "probably not". Go wherever makes you happy and where you would be most productive.

In Canada, no, it does not matter if you go to whichever undergrads (well, see the Ontario people duking it out in the other threads).

 

In the US, yes, it helps if you do well and come from UBC, U of Toronto or McGill (rather than from Guelph, UVic, etc.).
