When a research position says "Undergraduate students interested in graduate studies may apply for the position", do you put medicine as your career goal?

I think their academia version of "grad studies" = MSc or PhD. It depends more on the application question/position...

So does anyone know if the university of toronto summer student programs gives preference to students interested in graduate studies?

You can tell them you'll transfer to MD/PhD later on lol

 

but I've already submitted the app so can't make changes sigh

hehe, i wish you did psychology research, i think your whole perception of research might change, lol, i worked right beside the paleontology department and our gong show floor all thought the paleo people were creeps, even the cell bio creeps thought they were creeps... imagine you did a summer research project in the paleo department... yeah... academia is heterogeneous like anything else, one person was a full professor and didnt even consider it to be their primary occupation, they just did it for ****s and giggles, they made more money (than their already inane university salary) flipping houses.
