themd109
So it's happening again this year. A bunch of ppl got withdrawn from NRMP and some of us didn't. Does this mean that the ppl that have not been withdrawn did not match with CaRMS? Or did some ppl that did not get withdrawn from NRMP in the previous years also match with CaRMS on match day?? Really worried!!!
xi88
Also if you have gone unmatched, your undergrad office hears about it this week and calls you up to help you start your second round applications. What schools do this before match day? Because my school definitely doesn't.
Riskbreaker
What schools do this before match day? Because my school definitely doesn't. I am aware this happened last year at UWO for one student trying for ophthalmology. Other than that, I have no idea if it's consistent year-to-year. rmorelan
What schools do this before match day? Because my school definitely doesn't. Our student affairs officer at the school says he only finds out just before they are released to us. No one is sitting the results in other words, and CARMS wouldn't want a system where the policies are somehow overridden.
dan0105
What schools do this before match day? Because my school definitely doesn't. Ya our school doesn't know anything either. They specifically told us to contact them ASAP on match day if you go unmatched so that they can try and help you with round 2.
