But then you don't have the privilege of writing any orders without having someone cosign them, do you?

All you can do at this point is wait and contact the program you matched to and discuss your options.

 

Bottom line, you will likely need to write in the Fall sitting and until your results get back (and you can be licensed to practice in Quebec) you will spend the first few months of your residency getting orders cosigned.

So I called up a bunch of offices

 

My program's GME office (I only ranked 1 program): call CaRMS or CMQ

CMQ: I only need QE1 and QE2 for licensure purposes, not for eligibility to start residency

CaRMS: they know the requirement before they ranked you, besides some people do take the QE1 after they start residency
