ecobeco
I did my first 1/3 of the BR bio passages tidy and I feel that the chapter 1 material I read in EK had very little in terms of detail that I saw in the BR passages. Anyone else feel like this? Would it be better if I just read the BR bio? Seems a lot more work but if it gets me the marks....
Prof.A.DumbleDore
TBR Bio is tough... some questions are insanely specific and knowledge based. Even reading TBR bio wouldn't help really cause there's no point remembering the detail they go into for some of the topics. I have been just learning from my mistakes and have been trying to improve my test taking skills.
ecobeco
Ahh I see - would you say TBR bio is harder than the actual questions I should expect on mcat? I didn't do terribly on the passages (averaged 4/6 or so) but just feel that EK is a bit too little details
trojjanhorse
Do you have bio background from undergrad? If so, write a sample aamc BS section and you'll see how innately you'll be able to answer the questions. You may need to brush up on orgo before trying tackling one of the aamc's. EK orgo is a good start.
