etobsham
For those of you who know current PT/OT students: do you know if a part-time job is doable during school?

Real Beef
I am not a PT/OT student but I worked full-time as a registered dietitian while taking my MPH part time and am now entering first year med school at NOSM and plan on working part time doing long term care dietetic counselling (8-12 hrs/wk). I would keep it to 10 hrs or less a week. Much more than that it really interferes with school. If you want to push it more than that you need superior time management skills, efficient studying habits and understanding significant others Good luck. I wish it was optional for me but I really need to work to minimize med school debt and maintain my mortgage. Beef
