DAT changes

I thought DAT contained general & organic chem, general bio, math and carving, but it says in http://www.cda-adc.ca/en/dental_profession/dat/information that DAT now has only general chem & bio, carving & reading.

 

Does the Canadian DAT no longer have math & organic chem?

 

Does the US DAT still have math & organic chem?

 

Do US dental schools accept Canadian DAT?

I don't know who said Canadian DAT has Organic Chem and math, but as of last november I believe those sections were not part of it at all.

 

American DAT has those sections but no carving.

The Canadian DAT has not had orgo or math at least for 3 years, likely for longer, the US DAT does have those sections. Some, but not all US schools will accept the Canadian DAT; typically the Canadian applicant friendly ones are private schools.
