nicks2
Hi. When you take practice FLs, do you write the essays or do you skip the essays and go to the biological sciences section?
markov79
usually do the 2 essays. you should get used to the time constraints, and it's good practice. of course, the most ideal scenario would be to have a legitimate, trained marker (or maybe you have a friend who's just balling at ws. but still, that counts as training. also note that i want to stress the emphasis on legitimate). you don't want to practice and reinforce bad habits. that would screw you over pretty hard. so try to find an alternate viewpoint/marker to take a look at your essays, be it prep company or, as i said, independently trained. you could also self-mark, but i think everyone would recognize problems with this approach. but if you're a vulcan, this last method might work. thatonekid
Do the essays. It helps you develop stamina for the actual test day. Also, you'll start to develop a pattern that allows you to write a quick MCAT styke essay.
