Special Consideration- pool of its own

If you are granted special consideration are you in the same pool as everyone else. Do they weight your interview differently? I can't find anything on the website about this. Does anyone know?

As far as I know, you are weighted with everyone else, it's just that if you are granted special consideration, you are automatically granted an interview (and the interview is what really counts so even with so-so stats, you can do really well and be accepted based on a good interview).
