Guest fierysweet
Hi Bumseng, As an out-of-province student, your chances would be better at McGill than at U de Montreal, who admits VERY few OOPs, if any. I applied once to U de M, about 5 years ago, when I first came to Quebec, and I was an OOP. I did not get in. Not even an interview. I applied this year as in-province, and I just heard that I was admitted ... mind you, there's still a big hurdle to overcome. I have to take a French Test that could be very difficult for some people. U de M puts a lot of emphasis on your marks. It's supposed to be 50-50 between marks and interview, but the cut-off for marks seems to be quite high. However, the way they re-calculate your grades and weigh them might give you a very different average score than you would expect. I didn't think I would get in with my marks, but I did. I would suggest you go to the U de M faculty of medicine website and look at the admission requirements. Also, if you're really serious about studying medicine in Quebec, you might want to consider moving here after you're done your degree so you can apply as an in-province student. Guest marie ln
Bonne chance, QcBoy
