<title>Accepted/Rejected/Wait-listed??? (for current applicants)</title>

<pagetext>Hi all,

Here's a questionnaire for all of this year's dental school applicants. Please post which schools this year accepted, rejected, and waitlisted you, so that all us curious people can see who is getting accepted where. :)

This also includes applicants to US dental schools.

Please keep this one thread focussed on the above topic only; I will delete any non-profile responses. If you have any questions, please start a new thread in this forum.

You can copy and paste the following example, and modify it to your tastes. If you want to add your DAT and GPA scores, that'd be great too.

------

I'm a (Province) resident in (undergraduate or graduate) studies. My GPA was (XYZ) and my DAT scores were:

Academic Avg (/30):

PAT and Carving Avg (/30):

Accepted at: UBC

Rejected at: Toronto

Waitlisted at: UWO

Of all the schools I applied to, I'd like to attend (XYZ Dental School) as my first choice.

------

Ian

I'm an Alberta resident in undergrad studies (biochem major) at U of C. My cumulative GPA is 3.85 and my DAT scores were:

Academic Average: 23

PAT: 21

Carving: 24

Accepted at : UBC and U of A

Rejected at: U of T

U of A was my first choice, so that's the school I will be attending. However, U of T was a close second, so if I had been accepted there it would have been a very difficult decision.

Hi! I should have done this in February but I forgot....;)

I am a BC resident, my cumulative GPA is 3.87 (or 4.0/4.3 on the scale that UBC uses) and my DAT scores are:

AA - 22

PAT - 20

Carving - 14

Applied to: UBC, McGill, UofA

Didn't get an interview at UofA (carving score needs to be >15)

Accepted at UBC and McGill.

I'm going to McGill (I like crepes and poutine so there was really no contest here!)

I think that we will find out if the waitlist has moved only after April 26, which is the last day to accept the offers of admission.....I am going to call U of T on the 27th to find out more...good luck to all fellow waitlisters! 8o !
