constance
Hi, I'm asking this on behalf of a friend. He is a Canadian citizen who went to the UK for med school and matched back to Canada for IM :D in a parallel tract (i.e. not in competition with CMGs). For the R4 match as I understand CMGs and IMGs assuming they are both residents in Canadian programs are on the same tract. Would he be at any official or unofficial disadvantage again? (i.e. does he need to work his bum off compared to a CMG)?
leviathan
Officially, no. Unofficially, probably not for the majority of programs but there's way too many to make a blanket statement.
