Der Kaiser
How many out of province individuals get an interview invite? Has it changed due to the new requirements of OOP students? I would guess it has not changed. There were 215 non-AB applications sent for full review as opposed to 205 last year. I think about 110 were interviewed. I can't see them changing that number much. trojjanhorse
Last year: *774 OOP Applied *205 OOP Received Full File Review *121 OOP Invited for Interview This year: (with new OOP criteria) *327 OOP Applied *215 OOP Received Full File Review (112 OOP did not meet the 11VR and 3.80 GPA cut off) ~Expect similar number of OOP applicants for interviews. The number of applicants really took a nose dive this year, wow.
Vidhya
The number of applicants really took a nose dive this year, wow. The number of OOP applicants definitely did, but this was due in large part to admissions strongly discouraging OOP applicants if they did not meet the minimum cutoffs. It's amazing how many people apply when they are not close to the cutoffs. I have to give Calgary a lot of credit here. They could just take the applicant's money, but instead they felt it was more ethical to educate applicants on their chances, even if it did result in a loss in admissions fees.
