Ireland to UK as a EU citizen?

Recommended Posts

I'm a EU citizen, though I've in Canada for longer than 10 years, so if I get into an Irish med school it would be as an international.

I understand that I would get first choice for residency (like the locals) upon completing my degree, as a result of my EU citizenship?

Additionally, seeing as the UK isn't part of the EU, would it be difficult to transfer from Ireland to the UK either before or after a residency in Ireland?

Lastly, if anyone knows what the general GPA/MCAT/other requirements are to get into the Irish med schools, it would be helpful as well.

How could you think the UK is not part of the EU??? and you are an EU citizen? Wow, you need to take a crash course in civics....

The UK is part of the EU so you would be able to apply to the UK for residency or to work there.

Unfortunately...there are dumb questions in this world.

I've seen your stats on another post. You should have no problems getting into Ireland.
