agentdoubleb
Hi, a third year student interested in Anesthesia in ON. While doing my anesthesia rotation during clerkship, my preceptor warned me about going into anesthesia residency in Canada saying that the US board will not recognize Canadian anesthesia residency and thus, Canadian residents will not be eligible to write the US board exam. He was telling me that if job market in Canada gets worse, new graduates might get screwed with no place to go.. Any thoughts on this? Thanks. JPicasso
Doom and gloom. Don't pay attention to it. There are jobs out there. It just won't be in ____________ (insert major city/academic center here) Also, Canadian Royal College training in whatever specialty is usually more than sufficient for board eligibility.
