Applying While Still in Grad School

I'm just curious if anyone knows if NOSM requires any kind of written permission from a graduate student's school or a faculty member in order to apply while still in grad school?

 

I'm just wondering because I'm about to start a masters in physiotherapy (MSc[PT]), and I'm curious if I can apply to NOSM again while I'm still enrolled in the physio program, or if I have to wait until it is completed?

I know people who have done this at schools who require you to finish, they just didn't tell the med schools about the grad degree.

This year they did not have any letter required from a supervisor/graduate faculty, however last year I had to have my supervisor write an additional letter (separate from the reference letter) simply stating they were aware I was applying.

dangerous for sure - it is surprising how currently at least non integrated all the various educational systems are in Canada and even Ontario.

 

plus having a masters can be rather useful as you go along

I thought I remembered reading something like that in the OMSAS 2012 and 2013 booklets. Thanks. I'll probably just end up calling or emailing NOSM in the fall to see if they require anything from the school I'm going to.
