Ib Credits And Agpa Calculation Questions

Recommended Posts

Hello, For Manitoba, from the website, I can mail IB transcript for AGPA calculation. My questions:

1. I have 3 High Level IB all are 6, 3 Standard Level all are 7, I know 6 is A which is GPA 4.0, 7 is A+ which is 4.5 GPA, but how many credits weight for each high level and standard level courses for AGPA calculation ?

2. I graduated from my university with 96 credits studies and 24 credits transferred from IB, total is 120 credits on my university's transcript. From Manitoba's website, for 96 credits, I can drop 18 worst credits for AGPA,  for 120 credits I can drop 30 worst credits, which one is for me?

Any information about IB and AGPA calculation for Manitoba will be appreciated.

I was in this position a few weeks ago. Here is what you should consult: http://umanitoba.ca/student/admissions/media/IB_2012-2013_v_3.pdf

This form will tell you how many credits each of your HLs and SLs will be weighted. You must also fill in and mail this form to claim your credits, even after mailing your transcripts: http://umanitoba.ca/student/admissions/media/pdf/apib_requestform.pdf

From this, you should be able to figure out how many credits you'll end up with.
