MedSchoolPls
Hello, I am a second year undergrad student just looking for some information. I am from Calgary and later when I do become a family physician, I would like to live in British Columbia or Ontario. I was just wondering which province has better prospect for family physician. I I would like to work in Lower Mainland in BC not necessarily Vancouver but Metro Vancouver would be nice. For Ontario, I would like to work in Greater Toronto Area. I would really like to be a family physician. I have shadowed my family doctor and I really enjoyed the time These are the criteria. Prospect? Salary? Better Environment? And also, Leisure? Lifestyle? Thank You So Much! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!

bruhh
Alberta has the highest paid physicians (on average), followed by Ontario. BC falls somewhere in the middle as compared to other provinces. Stay in Alberta?
