Guest JAMIRA
Hi all, Just a quick question about what is considered a full-time year - Does it have to be from September to April or if I did two half years starting from Jan to April, then Sept to Dec, would it also be considered a full-time year? I am particularly interested in UWO but anyone who knows how this works at any of the other med schools, that'd be great too. Thanks! Jam;)

Guest Kirsteen
Hi there, Normally, schools would consider the two terms of Sept.-Dec. then Jan.-Apr. as being a full academic year. You might want to contact the schools directly if you have some extenuating circumstance. Cheers, Kirsteen
Guest aneliz
As far as I know, for UWO specifically, you must have Sept-April years to be considered as 'full time years'....but if you have extenuating circumstances (like you are a co-op student and you had work terms in the middle of all this...) you can contact the office to see what their take on your specific situation would be. I have no idea what the other schools think....sorry.
