3.90 Gpa For Manitoba?

Recommended Posts

Is that you GPA or your AGPA (manitoba does not take your worst classes depending on how many credit hours you have)?

To be honest, for an OOP that is quite low.

They even state on their website that an OOP with an AGPA of 3.95 or lower has a slim chance of getting an offer (although going through the statistics, somebody with a 3.77 one year got offered an interview)

In order to be competitive for manitoba as an OOP, you would realistically need at least a 522 on your MCAT with your AGPA, until you rewrite your MCAT it is really hard to say if you have a shot

Getting into MB as an OOP is extremely competitive. That pool had 559 applicants this year and only 5 or 6 will be accepted. While AGPA is a very small part of the Umanitoba composite score they have so many applicants the bar is set very high for all components. I don't want to discourage you but IP applicants dominate in MB because OOP don't stick around when they're done.

I wouldn't bother applying to Manitoba or rewriting the MCAT just to apply there. Depending on your MCAT breakdown and cGPA/wGPA at other schools you should have a better shot elsewhere.

Manitoba has something like 5% of seats for OOP IIRC. So really not worth throwing money at unless one has near perfect stats as an OOP applicant.
