MacJK
Does anyone know which bank offers the best student line of credit? I don't need that much extra, probably $15k max after OSAP. So I'm mainly looking for lowest interest (during & after school if it differs). I'll be going into OT. Thanks so much!
crystal93
I didn't research every bank in detail, but I noticed for PT/OT there isn't as much info on bank websites as with med/dent. I only met with RBC and I'm going to sign the papers next week - I've always dealt with RBC and I met with an advisor who my family knows pretty well. I don't plan to dip into it that much (hopefully!), and I'll use all my provincial loans first. If you want I can tell you more info after I sign the papers. UWOPT17
The largest I found was CIBC, which offers up to 40k for students of professional grad programs. Hope that helps!
MDwannabe02
Scotiabank also offers a professional LOC for $40K over two years. I got it for physio, not sure about OT though
User001
CIBC gives you 40K per year for physiotherapy (if you have a cosigner), at prime + 1. Scotia offered me 20K per year at prime + 0.5, with no cosigner.
