Nina_70
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows what the cut off gpa is for getting an interview at UofT with a masters degree? Also I was wondering if they take into consideration if there is an upward trend in GPA? Thank you in advance

Fakedoctor
I think the people who got accepted had an average of 3.9 but the interview average was 3.85. I don't think that an upward trend really makes a difference but they do drop your worst year in their GPA calculation

McMomo
Some upper year U of T students told me that if you did a masters or PhD, there is a certain % boost for your GPA (Sorry I forgot the exact percentage). The number has changed in recent years though, so we can't be sure what boost you'll be receiving, if any at all.
Varsity
I have heard masters students with a 3.6 who have gotten in. But its best to call admissions than speculating.
1629fan
I think it depends whether you do a Thesis-based or a Course-based Masters (obviously the former being worth more). That's what's being done with UofT Medicine.
