Storii
Hello everyone, I'm a bit confused as to which of my presentations will qualify as a "publication for UCAN." I have a couple abstracts published in Journals, so those are fine - but what about some for smaller conferences that don't have an attached journal? I have a couple of presentations at Graduate Student Conferences (though I'm an undergrad), where the abstracts were peer-reviewed and selected, but the only "publication attached" is a small booklet of conference proceedings that is not available online. Another couple of presentations were at undergraduate level conferences where the abstracts and schedule are published online. Do you think these can be included? Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated. Thanks
CalgStudent
I don't think they are considered publications unless published in a journal.
VolumeOverload
As long as you can provide a copy of the conference proceedings that lists your abstract, you can include it as a publication. It does not need to have an affiliated journal.Double check with the admissions office but I think you will be fine to include everything that you listed. koreanboy123
Anyone know if the U of C Undergrad Research Symposium counts? No online abstracts but all participants were given a "booklet" with all abstracts in it?
