PreMedNB16
Hello all, I am an OOP applicant and I have an ungrad degree and a masters. My GPA will be 3.9 with the graduate 0.2 gpa boost, I am from a northern, rural, New Brunswick area, so I was wondering what my chances were for an interview/acceptance? Any ideas? Lifeisawesome
Apply, and you will find out! In all seriousness though, nobody can give you that information. NOSM has an extremely small class size (n=64) so even if you make it to the interview (I think they interview around 300 people) it is still a long shot. I think it is the toughest medical school to get into in all of Canada, they only accept about 4% of applicants. Having a high GPA and being from a northern/rural area helps, but beyond that it depends on your ABS, how you answer the questions, and luck! You can check previous years stats to get an idea, but we can't say anything more beyond that. Submit your application, wait, and wait, and wait, and hopefully around Jan/Feb you will receive an interview invite! Good luck!
