otapp24
For those of you who attended the UofT info session a few months ago, it looks like they're going through with the plan to admit students to both the St. George and Mississauga campus. How do you guys feel about this? ( http://ot.utoronto.ca/prospective/mscot_24month/faqs/ ) After reading the FAQ, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, it gives more students the opportunity to become OTs. On the other, the video conferencing thing sounds like it could be a technical mess (which could impact the education we receive) and students being split up impacts the student life/community feel of the program. Also I assume that more students equals more competition for fieldwork placements and for jobs after graduating. That being said I would still be happy to get into any of the Ontario schools, however this whole thing makes me think twice about UofT.. Thoughts?
