Med schools don't give 2 cents about what majors you did, how rigorous your program was, what courses you took... All they're looking for is as close to 4.0 as possible. I cannot stress how important it is for you right now to switch out immediately, your 3.7/3.8 will easily be a 4.0 elsewhere. PM me for more details if you want!
