Do I bother applying to University of Ottawa?

My wGPA is 3.835. I'm hearing that the cutoff is determined every year based on applicant pool, but it is typically 3.85. Am I just wasting money if I apply to Ottawa?

If you are applying through the English stream, that GPA is most likely below the cut-off. I suggest you contacting the uOttawa admissions to confirm what the cut-offs are so you can be sure. Generally they have been around 3.85 and 3.87 for the English stream depending on geographic location.

3.85 is the cutoff for English stream so it will be a waste of money

Hi everyone,

I just calculated my wGPA for U of Ottawa and I am 0.013 to meet to cut-off... ;(

Anyone knows how to gain that extra 0.013 GPA (I am ending my bachelor this year, so doing another year into this current bachelor's is not an option)
