Guest ItaliaFever
Accepted this morning. I'm a London resident going into 4th year at Life Sciences at Queen's. GPA:3.96 Physical Sciences: (12) Verbal: (12) Biological Sciences: (12) Written Sample: ® First time applying, and the only school I got into. I was rejected pre-interview by Toronto and waitlisted by Queen's (which I'll be taking my name off of). A note for those of you who are still waiting on the waitlist.... If you don't happen to get in this year, please don't get down on yourselves. You are likely more qualified than many people who actually got in...it's a crapshoot. Don't let the scores given to you by 3 strangers in a 30-minute chat affect the way you look at yourselves. Stay positive...everything seems to happen in life for a reason. lucy98
Hi all, After what I believed to be my worst interview by far and writing Western off completely as a result (it was my first choice), I have actually been accepted! I will, of course, be accepting the offer! MCAT: 36S (13PS/13BS/10VR) GPA (last 2 years): 3.93 No nobel prizes, trips to foreign countries, cancer cures, research or publications...however, I do have an impressive collection of rejection letters from previous years This is my second time applying to Western ( missed the cutoff last year by one point) and my SIXTH application to med school ( I applied to Mac 4 times before deciding to give up and write the MCAT). Stupid I know... Moral of the Story: If medicine is what you want, keep trying!!! Good Luck to all! Lucy
Kyle
Received an acceptance offer this morning... Congrats to everyone else, see u in the fall!!!

degoo_
Just a side note: NEVER listen to that nagging voice in your head telling you your interviews went horribly. It will save you a lot of distress and spare you from any grey hairs. Good luck to everyone! I'll second this. The places where I thought I interviewed poorly I got in while the places I thought I nailed the interview I was waitlisted. 3.9gpa, 37S MCAT, lots of research, good volunteer, several ECs.
