Government Report = Graduate Productivity?

Hi,

I'm just curious to get opinions... would doing a literature search and being a co-author on a report to the government qualify as graduate productivity?

Thanks!

Hi there,

I would absolutely think that it would, especially if you've done this work during your graduate years. I would not hesitate to include it. :) To wit, I'm currently working on a document, (I'm helping to draft the first Surgical Charter for a surgical association in Africa). It's similar in nature to your paper, i.e., requires a good deal of research of similar documents and will be submitted for official use by some sort of governing body, and I have included it in my productivity package.

Cheers,

Kirsteen
