Censored
Hi. Prospective applicant here. When do each dental schools open their applications, and when is the earliest time to send in transcripts and necessary forms? i.e. for U of T, western, ubc, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, dalhousie etc.... they all have similar due date but opening date is not very clear. UBC, for one, says theirs open sometime during summer. I thought asking here will be the more intelligent decision. Your input would be much appreciated to smooth my anxiety. Thanks! Starburst
It varies school to school but generally applying early makes no difference in Canada. In the US, if you apply early you have a better chance of getting in. You can get more information from each schools website.
SK~
Hello @Censored, For UofT Dentistry, you can check out the following links: 1. https://www.dentistry.utoronto.ca/how-to-apply#edit-group-dds-program 2. https://www.dentistry.utoronto.ca/how-to-apply/application-page I would recommend you spend some time navigating the websites for each school you wish to apply to and find out the dates the applications become available. Then, mark it on your calendar or create an excel spreadsheet where you can list all schools, their deadlines, and documents required. If you intend to apply to quite a few schools, I would recommend that you organize all of this information. I hope you find this helpful. I wish you the best in your application process!
